    Equine Rescue of Aiken (aka Aiken Equine Rescue) was established in 2006 with almost 80 acres of land. They have eight pastures, thirteen paddocks, an office building, and a maintenance barn. Since its founding, Aiken Equine Rescue has become one of the largest horse rescue farms in the southeastern United States. They have placed over 1,800 horses into adopted homes and rescued many horses, donkeys, and mules. At any given time, between 40–60 horses reside at Aiken Equine Rescue.

    Join us for the induction ceremony honoring Tirupati, the 2025 Aiken Trained Horse of the Year.
    Trained at Mason Springs Training Center in Aiken, South Carolina, Tirupati continues the tradition of excellence established by owners and trainers Marcus and Crystal Ryan, who also trained 2022 and 2023 honoree Private Creed.
