Get involved with the Aiken Thoroughbred Racing Hall of Fame by becoming a volunteer docent. Share your interest in history and Thoroughbred racing while welcoming visitors, supporting special events, and helping bring Aiken’s rich racing heritage to life.

Hall of Fame docents are volunteers who greet visitors, guide visitors through the Hall of Fame, and provide information about the exhibits and the museum.

Docents also prepare the Hall of Fame to open and close and may be asked to volunteer at special events, such as art show receptions, Breakfast at the Gallops, and various educational or historic programs.

Those who volunteer for the program should have a passion for history and/or Thoroughbred racing or be willing to learn.
