A children’s fun zone has been created in one of the courtyard stalls and will feature an Equicizer™ named “Hitch”.
The Equicizer™ is a hand-crafted mechanical horse that simulates riding so jockeys can improve their overall fitness and practice skills. Hitch was donated to the Hall of Fame by Hitchcock Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy Center. He is been tacked up and ready to race.
There is also a horseracing game where kids can compete against one another to see who has the fastest horse on the track.
A sensory-friendly tack box containing horseshoes, stirrups, brushes, saddle cloths and other items used in training racehorses makes this stall fun for children of all ability levels.
